I know stats are still in beta and you're probably planning on this Wolf, but yeah. I think the only way to keep the stats as accurate as possible would be to have individual leaderboards for each map, since each map is a different experience with different average scores. Just wondering what thoughts are about having different scoreboards for each map are?

I think it's fine using all the maps. Doing the scoreboard for each individual map would make the chart look redonkulus!

I say not top ten per map but just the top person to shorten and simplifie the list.

Mr. Wolf is a smart guy, I'm sure he could wouldn't have to do each map individually.

It's not fine using all the maps, short. The total damage/kills/times scoreboards are just a ranking of who plays the longest. The average kills/damages/times are also flawed, seeing as the highest average people are the ones who play one or two rounds and happen to do decently.

I get what your saying Lifed, you have good stats due to playing on maps that are simple and easy to survive on, but are ruined when playing on a map where you can get killed easily.

But still, it really doesn't matter if your stats are at the top. Example, just because your ranked 1st in Overall Survival Time doesn't mean your better at surviving than others. He could of played more rounds than you, giving him more time in his stats. Another thing, YOU know which people are good at playing ZS, the stats are just keeping record. Currently, I don't see you on the stats (even though I know that you told me it's bugged for you), but I know that your pretty good at ZS.

Should Mr. Wolf change the stats to per map? Maybe, but it doesn't need to be.

Per map wouldn't be difficult, since each round is recorded separately, and the scores you are are the sums and averages of the rounds. Displaying them would be interesting. I'll look into a good format for it. I am also going to put a limit on the number of rounds before your stats show up. I'm thinking 10. It will also only show people who have been active in the last 60 days. After 60 days, your stats will be cleared. Thoughts?

So far, my thoughts are that averages are very hard to balance out, particularly since idling in a round brings things like that down, and it's not likely to reflect actual relative skill. Some averages are nice (maybe average from the stats that are greater than 0), but I'd especially like to see things like "Most kills in a round", "Most damage in a round", and some of the other totals we have.

Also, rather than showing every top 10 on the same page load, maybe have a drop down box to select which ranking to query for. Also, maybe an alternate listing to show only clan members.

EDIT:
Maybe average together the top 10 stats for each person for things like kills and survival time, to come up with a more accurate listing.

Yus! Very yus! Something like Mike is suggesting, or maybe just hyperlinks to each map's stat's with things like most kills and damage(both teams).

Competition usually leads to arguments and terminal shell is fun enough as it is. Current stats system seems to be good enough as it is.
