Theme Update

As per a suggestion by rawr, the site theme is now completely customizable in color. Your preferences panel now has two textboxes: Site Theme and Link Colors. These accept a hexidemical color code, and your theme will be set according to these values.A few notes about the new system...List:* You can keep the default theme by clearing the textboxes* Links and panels can be different colors* It is recommended to have each RGB value at least 05* For very low values, you may have some unexpected results* The default green theme is 03420d* The default blue theme is 031d42* The default red theme is 2f0305The new post boxes still use the default green. I will get these updated to work with the new theme system sometime this weekend.

I have noticed a bit of disrespect towards current administrators. This is all I will say on the matter. Administrators have my authority to represent me while I am not here. Whether you agree with my decision or not is irrelevant. If you have a problem with one of them, talk to me about it.That being said, I am promoting the following to Admin Recruit. Please reply as to whether you accept or deny. Any outbursts as to why a person does not deserve adminship will not be tolerated.List:* Short* Rbanh* Tmr1228* RawrYou will go through the process of admin recruitment should you choose to accept, wherein if you are a responsible admin, you will be given full admin rights.

Recent events

In light of recent events, I would like to make a statement.Nickzip has been out of line in his actions an administrator. The "undercover cop" thing has gone a little too far. He has been dealt with, so please stop harassing him.Secondly, no player other than clan members have any authority on our servers, and whether or not they are recording anything is irrelevant, and they have every right to do so, since they are playing the game. Again, however, they have no authority in the server.Thirdly, let's talk about the language and music issues. Language is only an issue if the person using the language is told to stop due to another player on the server who feels offended. If that is the case, then language is an issue. General use isn't a problem, unless it gets out of line. Language in jest is acceptable, so long as it is not overdone.Music over mic is considered acceptable so long as a majority in the server agree to hear it. If a majority agree, and you disagree, Quote:1.) Esc2.) Player List3.) Person's Name4.) MuteThis should clear up a few things. In addition, I am redoing the chain of command as I type this, and am considering new administrator. Nominating yourself will not improve your chances of attaining admin.

Warning for siblings

This goes out to all players with siblings who share accounts. If your sibling is using your account, and aimbots, or spams, or does anything else to get your account banned, simply stating it was a sibling is not sufficient to get unbanned. Your account will stay banned. So either ensure that your sibling will not do anything to ruin your name, or get them their own account.

Rules and the like

First off, today I am taking time to set down a new ruleset, do some promotions, make changes to servers, etc. So there will be a lot of activity throughout the day.Second, I would like to address something that has been somewhat of an issue as of late, in the field of rules. As far as the forums and the game servers go, there are a specific list of rules that have been posted (and soon to be revised). These rules are the basics set down as a guideline of how to behave. However, any administrator has the right to instate any rule they wish to make. Yes, ANY rule. Could this be a ridiculous rule that leads to the oppression of the players? Yes, it very well could. And then the admin that instated the rule would be sent packing. Therefore, the rule for rules is this: (in three parts)1. Any posted rule must be followed.2. Any rule that an admin has instated must be followed.3. Any player may appeal a rule set by an admin to a higher authority. The final decision rests with the Clan Owners.

Due to strain on the server, the player limit has been decreased from 32 to 28. The game is usually playable with 28 people on, but not 32, so this should reduce lagg on a full server.

As some of you may have noticed, I have been MIA for quite some time, the reason for which being the end of the semester, end of the year holidays, and no internet at my current place of residence. After the holidays I will be on quite a bit more. A few things I plan on getting done once I get back are:* Revising some code on the website* Launching a few new website features* Cleaning up the ZS code* Polishing the ZS UI* MAYBE adding some new features to ZS (unlikely, I'll tell you why later)* Starting work on a brand new gamemode* Actually playing again for a change (I know, right?!?)Thanks to everyone who has been around over the last few weeks. An extra special thanks to all of our donors. See you soon, and Happy Holidays!

So, as most of you are no doubt aware, the server has been made the play thing of 13 year old script kiddies who have downloaded some sort of exploit off of the internet. A fix has been found, but will take some time to fully implement and repair the damage.Unfortunately, this means that for most of the day of Sunday, December 6, the ZS server will be offline while being repaired. Sorry for the downtime, but it should deter future exploits.

Here is an update to the donor and member benefits.* Donor benefits stay the same* Member benefits have been removed, except for hats, and immunity.* Recruit benefits have been removed. What does this mean?It means that in order for members to get weapon loadouts and the HP bonus, they have to donate, just like everyone else. This includes admins. It also means that recruits don't get anything. More incentive to behave and become a full member. All in-game commands remain unchanged.

Welcome to the new terminal shell

Hello, and welcome to the new terminal shell. The new site is now online and functional. Although there are a few features that haven't been implemented yet, most of the planned features are working. All users must register an account if they wish to have their level recorded. The site levels are what will be used on all Terminal Shell services, so if you aren't on here, you aren't anywhere. Returning users will need to create a new account, and I will set you to the level you are supposed to be.Keep in mind that this is still in beta, and therefore there may be some bugs lying around. Report them in the forums and I'll get around to fixing them. If you have a feature you want added, post it, and I'll see what I can do.
